William "Mike" Osborn

William Michael Osborn was born November 10, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Aubrey and Frances (Clark) Osborn.
He was raised in the Des Moines area and graduated from Saydel High School with the Class of 1960. On November 19, 1961 Mike was united in marriage to Judy Halferty. They had two children, Debi and Steve. Mike worked for Safeway for a few years, before taking a job with American Can in Des Moines. He was a forklift operator and he and Judy raised their family in Ankeny. Mike retired in 2004 and shortly afterward he and Judy moved to Pleasantville. He enjoyed volunteering at the Pleasantville Senior Center.
Mike passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Pleasant Care Living Center, in Pleasantville, at the age of 77 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jane Albertson.
Those left to cherish Mike’s memory include his wife, Judy; children: Debi (Craig) Pepper and Steve (Pam) Osborn; grandchildren: Amanda (Aaron) Tullar, Brian Osborn (Samantha DeWitt) and Hannah (Rodney) Mitchell; many great grandchildren and other family members and friends.
William Michael “Mike” Osborn age 77, of Pleasantville, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019. He has been cremated and no services are planned. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Lucas County, at a later date.
