W. Bruce Heaberlin

W. Bruce Heaberlin, 69, of Pleasantville, Iowa, passed away on May 2, 2015 in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Memorial service will be held at Mason Funeral Home, 902 North State Street in Pleasantville, Iowa on May 23, 2015 at 11:00 am with Willa Heaberlin officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantville Cemetery.
Bruce was born to Stanley and Jessie Heaberlin on May 16, 1945. He attended Pleasantville High School graduating in 1963, and then went on to earn a business degree from American Institute of Business. He retired after a successful career in corporate accounting and finance. Bruce immensely enjoyed being on the water, spending most of his adult life boating, fishing and living on the water. He also had a passion for cars and enjoyed owning many throughout his life. Bruce was a member of a barbershop choir, various quartets, and a member of the acappella singing group Street Sounds.
Bruce is survived by his brother Gene (Janice) Heaberlin of Pleasantville. Survivors also include three sons: Bryan (Gretchen) Heaberlin of St. Petersburg, Florida; Bryce (Terri) Heaberlin of Des Moines, Iowa and Brad (Stephanie) Heaberlin of New Orleans, Louisiana. Bruce has three grandchildren: Bryane Heaberlin, Brylie Huddleson and Maximus Heaberlin. He is preceded in death by his brother Carl Heaberlin, his father Stanley Heaberlin and his mother Jessie Heaberlin.
