The daughter of Urban J. Walker and Edith Kalei Pupuhi Walker, Velma Fay Kuuleialohakulanakila Walker was born October 13, 1935 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was raised in Honolulu and on May 28, 1955 Velma was united in marriage to Bobby Marsh, Sr. The couple lived in Hawaii, California and Florida, as Bobby was a career Navy man. In the early 1990’s the couple moved to Bussey, Iowa where they have resided since. Through the years, Velma had sold Avon and babysat for families. In her spare time Velma enjoyed bingo and she and Bobby were in a bowling league for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, children: Christina, Carol and Richard and a sister, Kathleen.
Those left to cherish Velma’s memory include her husband, Bobby, Sr. of Bussey; children: Bobby, Jr. of Ohio and Fay Callaway of Alabama; grandchildren: Joann Marsh, Bobby Marsh III, Krystal Munoz, and Dakota, Daniel and David; sister, Momi of Hawaii and many other family members and friends.
