Timothy James Raney was born April 17, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Bobby and Joan (Cruiz) Raney.
Following high school, Tim worked in various factories. Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He greeted everyone as a friend, with a ready smile, whether he knew them or not. He was a hardworking man who took all of life’s challenges head on.
Tim passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mike and Billy.
He is survived by his wife, Marita Kay; son, Jacob; grandchildren: Justine, Robert, Rhianna, Bryson, Jacob, Jr. and Zialee; his siblings: Johnny Raney, Laurie Fanning and Patti Foster and many other family members and friends.
