Terry Lee Curry

Terry Lee Curry was born November 29, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Fred Ray and
Beulah Irene (Wicker) Curry.

He was raised in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from Lincoln High School. Terry moved to
Pleasantville, Iowa in 1977. He worked for Wagner Plumbing & Heating, which became Wagner & Curry; and eventually Curry Plumbing & Heating after Terry purchased the business. Prior to retirement, he
worked for Weiler Products in Knoxville.

Terry was involved in the Pleasantville community and had served as the Trojan mascot, riding
his horse before games in full trojan regalia. He also served on the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire
Department, where he is the former Assistant Chief. Terry was also an avid outdoorsman and ran the
Howell Station Campground at Lake Red Rock for 9 seasons.

Terry passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at his home, in Pleasantville, at the age of 68 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stan Curry.

Those left to honor Terry’s memory include his children: Toby and wife Kate Curry of Dorr,
Michigan; Dustin Curry of Knoxville and Jen Huddelson of Pleasantville; grandchildren: Kieran, Holden
and Davin Curry and Kaden Curry and Trey Thomas; siblings: Steve Curry of Runnells, Iowa and Nancy
Ritz of Des Moines, Iowa and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Terry Curry, age 68 of Pleasantville, will be announced later this
summer. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date. Mason Funeral Home
