Steve Fouch

Steven Lee Fouch was born October 25, 1959 in Marion County, Iowa the son of Clyde and Natalie (Scharf) Fouch.
He was raised in Pleasantville and graduated from Pleasantville High School with the Class of 1978. Following high school, Steve worked in the welding trade. He owned and operated Fouch Welding in Attica, Iowa for several years. In 1993 he took over his family’s farm in Pleasantville. On October 15, 1994 Steve was united in marriage to Vicki Hindman. Steve and Vicki were blessed with two sons: Hagen and Grant. In 2003 Steve converted his operation to organic farming and remained dedicated to that operation until his untimely death.
As a young man, Steve enjoyed bicycling, cross country skiing, hunting and mud-dragging. When he became a father, he enjoyed attending his sons sporting events and cattle shows. Steve’s greatest source of pride was his family; he was a loving husband, father and brother.
Steve passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his farm at the age of 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to honor Steve’s memory include his wife, Vicki; sons: Hagen (Kylee) and Grant; siblings: Jane Kruger of Knoxville, Jim (Deb) Fouch and Mike (Jan) Fouch of Pleasantville and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

A funeral service for Steve Fouch, age 60 of Pleasantville, will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Mason Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mason Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
