Stephen Joseph Fernandez, Jr. was born April 13, 2001 in Kankakee, Illinois the son of Nicki Mull and Stephen Fernandez.
He was raise in Pleasantville, Iowa and was currently a senior at Pleasantville High School. Stephen enjoyed fishing mushroom hunting and the races. His greatest joy was hanging out with his friends and family.
Stephen passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, as a result of an auto accident, at the age of 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nicki Mull; grandmother, Cindy Jo Mull; great-grandfather, Jimmy Raney; great-grandmother, Patricia Mull and great aunt, Debbie McCann.
Those left to cherish Stephen’s memory include his sister, Kelly Fernandez; grandfather, Jeff Mull, Sr.; uncle, Jeff Mull, Jr.; aunt, Tina Schakel; great-grandmother, Janette Raney; great-grandfather, Jim McCann; father, Stephen Joseph Fernandez and many other family members and friends.
A Funeral Service for Stephen Fernandez, Jr., age 17 of Pleasantville, will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mason Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasantville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Mason Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
