Stephen Boyd Caudill
November 22, 1964 — March 31, 2025
Stephen Boyd Caudill was born November 22, 1964 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Boyd and Marianne (Kemper) Caudill.
Steve was raised in Ankeny and graduated from Ankeny High School with the Class of 1983. He worked at a gas station and a parking garage before taking a job with Arnold Motor Supply. He worked for Arnold at their Ankeny, Ottumwa and Fairfield locations. On August 31, 1991 Steve was united in marriage to Kimberly Ann Helle. The couple welcomed their daughter, Elizabeth in October of 1992. Steve was also blessed with a grandson, Malachi in May of 2018 and a granddaughter, Gabrielle in August of 2022. In 2014 Steve retired due to health concerns.
In his spare time, Steve loved playing with his niece and grandchildren. He was a generous person and was always willing to lend a hand to family members and friends.
Steve passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at his home, in Knoxville, at the age of 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kim; sister, Tracey Caudill; nephew, Kyle and father-in-law, Leo Helle. May they rest in peace.
Those left to cherish Steve’s memory include his daughter, Elizabeth Caudill (Amos Barning); grandchildren: Malachi and Gabrielle; sister, Lisa (Doug) Johnson; niece, Julianne Johnson and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
