Ryver Lee Lane

Ryver Lee Lane was born July 21, 2003 in Pella, Iowa the son of Tina Lane and Dan Davis.
Ryver was currently in the 9th grade, he received home schooling due to his illness. He loved animals, the color pink, playing his PS4, Iowa State Athletics and his favorite show was Supernatural. Ryver had met many celebrities including: T.J. Hockenson, Kaden Smith and Michael Ray. He loved hanging out with his brother, Jayden and spending weekends with his grandma Loretta. Ryver was a very courageous fighter during his battle with leukemia and he fiercely maintained his independence.
Ryver passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Blank Children’s Hospital, in Des Moines, at the age of 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Mike McGinnis; grandfather, Bob Rouse; grandmother, Gerti Hites and aunt, Cynthia McGinnis.
Those left to honor Ryver’s memory include his mother, Tina Achey of Knoxville; father Dan (Lindsay) Davis of Troy, Missouri; grandmothers: Donna Lane of Knoxville and Loretta Davis of Beacon; half siblings: Jayden Lane-Heaton, Bailey Davis, Cheyenne Davis, Trenton Davis and Charli Davis and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service for Ryver Lane, age 15 of Knoxville, will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
