Richard Wayne Beaver
April 15, 1940 — December 6, 2015
Richard Wayne Beaver was born April 15, 1940 in Marion County, Iowa the son of Cleo and Vera (Fridlington) Beaver.
He was raised in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 1958. Following high school, Dick enlisted in the Army National Guard. On May 2, 1959 Dick was united in marriage to Thelma Kingery. To this union two children, Deanna and Tim, were born. He served 37 years in National Guard, attaining the rank of CW4, before retiring in 1994.
In his spare time, Dick enjoyed reading westerns and the Hardees coffee group.
Dick passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at West Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center at the age of 75 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marilyn McMurray and a brother, Larry Beaver.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Thelma “Skeeter”; daughter, Deanna (Brian) Chambers of Eddyville; son, Tim Beaver of Minneapolis, Minnesota; granddaughter, Mercedes Chambers; siblings: Beverly Havener of Tracy, Gareth Beaver of Knoxville, Roger Beaver of Carlisle and Ronnie Beaver of Knoxville and many other family members and friends.
