Norma Caughey Rhoads

Norma Jean Caughey Rhoads was born October 14, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Bill and Lucille (Castings) Caughey.
Her family moved to Knoxville in 1957 and Norma graduated with the Class of 1973 from Knoxville High School. After graduation she worked for the Knoxville Greenhouse and Hy-Vee before taking a job with Pella Corp. Norma worked for Pella Corp. for 30 years prior to retirement. On October 9, 1980 she was united in marriage to Mike Rhoads. They had one daughter, Tracy.
In her spare time, Norma enjoyed crosswords, puzzles, trivia and socializing with family and friends.
Norma passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at her home at the age of 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill and brother, Bob.
Those left to cherish Norma’s memory include her daughter, Tracy Rogers; two granddaughters, Lily and Mia; mother, Lucille Caughey; brother, Bill Caughey; sister-in-law, Angela Caughey; two nephews, Chris and Ryan; two nieces, Katie (Nolan) and Sarah (Eric) and many other family members and friends.
A Funeral Service for Norma Caughey Rhoads, age 63 of Knoxville, will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. Visitation, with the family present will be on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service and burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
