Nedra Ann Horn was born June 18, 1939, in Atlantic, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Arlene Louise (Behrends) Wickey.
She was raised in Cass County, and graduated from Cumberland High School in 1957, and then attended 4 C’s Commercial College. Through the years, Nedra worked for K.L. Pierce, Amana Refrigeration, was the Victor Librarian, and was a daycare provider. On August 25, 1963 Nedra was united in marriage to Arnold Horn, at the First Lutheran Church in Wiota, Iowa. The couple made their home in Victor, Iowa until two years ago when they moved to Pleasantville.
She was a Boy Scout leader and a member of the Legion Auxiliary. Nedra enjoyed doing crafts and teaching VBS at St. James Lutheran Church for several years. She dearly loved the joy that children bring and being a mentor to them. Her greatest joy in life being a wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Nedra passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Pleasantville Care Living Center, in Pleasantville, Iowa at the age of 75.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband; Arnold, children: Natalie (David) Jolly of Pleasantville and Dennis (Melinda) Horn of Charleston, South Carolina, three grandchildren: Elizabeth, Dale, and Dean, siblings: Carolynn (Earl) Blunk of Atlantic, Iowa, Barbara Ward of Grant, Iowa, Ralph (Judy) Wickey of Massena, Iowa and Jacque Wickey of Atlantic, Iowa and many other family members and friends.

Burial will be at a later date in First Lutheran Wiota Cemetery, Wiota, Iowa. A Memorial has been established for the St. James Lutheran Church Of Victor, Iowa.
