Nathan Dominic Roose

Nathan Dominic Dean Roose was born November 8, 2000 in Pella, Iowa. He was raised in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville High School. He worked at Caseys, Culvers and the Sports Page. Most recently Nathan was working for Skunk River Block & Pallet.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoyed video games, Spider Man and the Flash. He was a compassionate person and fiercely loved his mom and sisters.
Nathan passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics at the age of 23 years.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Huff and Liz Mikesell; great-aunt, Teresa Mikesell; Grandpa Jack; Great-grandma, Pearl and our Pops.
Those left to cherish Nathan’s memory include his parents, Misti Mikesell and Doug Roose; mom/dad, Heidie; sisters: Shyan Adolfs, Danielle (Charlie) Uhl and Mahayla Mikesell; step-siblings: Lexi Stonehocker and A.J. Moen; special cousin, Cameron Wollums; grandparents: Larry and Twyla Roose, and Dan and Patty Daily and many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Nathan Roose, age 23 of Knoxville, will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marion County Humane Society or to the family.
