Nancy Jolene Anderson
July 14, 1962 — February 28, 2015
Nancy Jolene Anderson was born July 14, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Billy Eugene Finck and Becky Joyce (Beaver) Finck.
She was raised in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from high school in Omaha. While in high school, she played flute in the band. Nancy later married and had one son, Garrett. Several years later, Nancy moved to Daytona Beach, Florida. In Florida, she met Tim Anderson and the two were married on January 19, 2001. Nancy and Tim both worked in the restaurant industry while living in Florida. The couple moved to Knoxville, Iowa in 2009 to take care of Nancy’s parents when their health was declining.
In her spare time Nancy enjoyed NASCAR racing and watching sprint car races, especially when her nephew, Joe Beaver, was racing. Nancy also enjoyed the festivities of Daytona Bike Week when she was living in Florida. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Nancy passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home in Monroe, Iowa at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 14 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory include her husband, Tim; son, Garrett Butts of Chicago; step-daughter, Tallon Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida; brother, Mike Finck of Omaha, Nebraska; granddaughters: Haylee and Cora Butts and many other family members and friends.
A Service will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established for the family.
