Michael Allen Williams

Michael Allen Williams was born February 10, 1958 in Prineville, Oregon the son of Maxwell Irving Williams and Fern Elizabeth (Wallace) Williams.
Mike was raised in Oregon until his family moved to Melcher-Dallas in 1967. He graduated from Melcher-Dallas High School in 1977. Mike went to work at Pella Corp shortly after graduation and retired in 2009. He worked in the specialty windows department and traveled to other plants to train employees.
In his spare time, Mike enjoyed collecting arrowheads and other Native American artifacts. He also loved to ride his motorcycle and cook for family and friends.
Mike passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, in Des Moines, at the age of 63 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Fern; wife, Ellen and his daughter, Kami Bravo.
Those left to cherish Mike’s memory include his sisters: Sharon Moore and Sherri Williams; brother, William Williams; step-children: Dawn Simmons, Renee Grey and Darian Weaver; grandchildren: Bret, Desiray, Levi, Stacia, Jordan, Danielle, Dante, Deion, Lilia, Jaxson and Kayla; nieces and nephews: Skylar, Lyndsey, Nick and Rodney and many other family members and friends.
A private funeral service for Mike Williams, age 63 of Knoxville, will be held. A public visitation will be Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
