Michael Edward Johnson was born July 1, 1965 in North Carolina the son of Kenneth Sterling Johnson and Carol Louise (Weaver) Johnson.
Mike graduated from high school in Warsaw, Missouri. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served 4 years. He was stationed primarily in California. Following his discharge, Mike lived in Warsaw and Kansas City. He has lived in Knoxville and Des Moines, Iowa areas for over 20 years. In his spare time, Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mike passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his home at the age of 54 years.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Summers and sister, Debbie of Climax Springs, Missouri; brother, Rodney Sterling Johnson of Warsaw, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
Mike has been cremated and no services are planned.
