Melinda Hope Stamper was born March 20, 1973 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee the daughter of Jerry and Linda (Meeks) Stamper.
Melinda lived in Tennessee then Florida before moving to Iowa over 10 years ago. She worked as a nurse until health issues forced her to retire. On May 20, 2021 Melinda was married to her longtime companion, Curtis Benson.
Melinda passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, in Des Moines, at the age of 50 years.
Melinda is survived by her husband, Curt; three children: Amanda, Chase and Zachery; parents: Jerry Stamper and Linda Westberry; siblings: Walter and Cindy and many other family members and friends.
