Mary L Pregon

Mary Louise Pregon was born September 26, 1940 in Knoxville, Iowa the daughter of Dale and Verda (Davis) Wooldridge.
Mary graduated from Knoxville High School. On June 16, 1962 she was united in marriage to Theodore Dean Pregon at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The couple made their home in the Knoxville and Pershing areas. Mary was an excellent mother and she and Ted enjoyed attending their daughter’s school activities as they were growing up.
Mary passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the West Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center at the age of 82 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Verda Wooldridge; husband, Theodore "Ted" Pregon; five sisters: Betty Wooldridge, Bonnie Schrader, Jane “Jiggs” Bales, JoAnn Cameron and Wanda Sellers and nine brothers: Bob, Bill, Pete, Dale “Junior”, Charles “Chuck”, Donald “Buck”, Marvin “Hub”, Danny “Popeye” and Dale who died in infancy.
Those left to cherish Mary’s memory include her daughters: Kristi Rankin of Harvey, Melinda (Steve) Kuiper of Knoxville and Kim (Brent) Hoehns of Knoxville; grandchildren: Lisa (Kyle) Schrader of Harvey, Cody Rankin of Harvey, Christopher (Alex) Dunkin of Hamilton, Matthew (Devin) Dunkin of Knoxville, Brandon Kuiper of Otley, Kevin (Taylor) Kuiper of Pella, Kyle (Allison) Hoehns of Ankeny, Megan (Matt) Ritchhart of Knoxville; 12 great-grandchildren: Gage, Evelyn, Irelynn, Alice, Lillian, Landon, Tate, Leighton, Brooklyn, Grant, Parker and Lincoln; brother Jack (Danis) Wooldridge of Knoxville and many other family members and friends.
