Marc Barbour

A Visitation for Marc Barbour, age 67, of Knoxville will be held on Sunday, February 16 at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. A potluck reception will follow at the American Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.
Stephen Marc Barbour was born October 6, 1946 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the son of Thomas William Barbour and Roberta Jean (Pine) Barbour.
As a young man, Marc worked for Clow Valve in Oskaloosa. He spent several years in the plumbing and electrical business. He also worked as a bartender at the American Legion and the Knoxville Raceway. In his spare time, Marc enjoyed bowling, playing cards and sports. His greatest joy in life was his daughter and best friend, Rhiannon.
Marc passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics at the age of 67 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Rhiannon Barbour and her fiance Gary Turner of Covington, Kentucky; sister, Lesley Beard of Knoxville; niece, Mykala Robinson of Waukee and nephew, Mike Beard of Albia.
