Lydia Robinson was born Lydia Marie Blythe on February 20, 1919, the daughter of Burt and Lizzie Blythe. She was born in Marion County, Iowa and lived there her entire life.
She worked at Collins Memorial Hospital, in Knoxville, from 1945 to 1984. On February 26, 1960 Lydia was united in marriage to Willis Robinson. After the death of her husband in 1970, Lydia’s life revolved around her two nieces and their families: Charles and Rita Storm, Erin Storm; Otis and Christine Olinger and girls; Charles and Leona Martin, Trevor, Amy, Scott and Carrie and their families.
Lydia was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Knoxville. In her spare time she loved attending the Martin children’s sporting events, including soccer, track and Tae Kwon Do.
Lydia passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Griffin Nursing Center at the age of 97 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters: Sylvia, Thelma, Ruth, Helen and Dora; brothers: Roy, Charles and Carl; nephew, Charles Storm and great-nephew, Jean-Pal Borge.
Lydia is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Lydia Robinson, age 97 of Knoxville will be held at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
