Linda Faye Westberry
May 9, 1946 — April 19, 2025
Linda Faye Westberry was born May 9, 1946 in Tennessee the daughter of W.L. and Margaret (Manus) Meeks.
She was raised in Tennessee and lived most of her life there. Prior to retirement, Linda worked as a legal secretary. For the last 15 years she has made Knoxville her home.
In her spare time, Linda enjoyed music, sewing and cooking. She loved her family and was proud of the fact she raised two of her grandchildren.
Linda passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at MercyOne, in Des Moines, at the age of 78 years.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope and three brothers: Jerry, Wesley and Richard Meeks.
Those left to mourn Linda’s passing include her son, Walter (April) Westberry; daughter, Cindy Westberry; brother, Pete Meeks; several grand and great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Linda has been cremated and no services are scheduled. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Marion County Humane Society.
