Linda Kay Norton

Linda Kay Norton was born July 4, 1955 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the daughter of David and Connie (Hartshorn) Storm.
During her childhood, Linda traveled with her family all over the country. Her father worked for the phone company and they lived in several states. During her school years she was involved in cheerleading, baton and band. On January 28, 1974 she was united in marriage to her soul mate and love of her life Don Norton. They raised their daughters Chris, Casey and Carrie in Knoxville. Linda worked as a cook at the Knoxville Hospital and a local nursing home. She then took a job at Pella Corp where she worked until the late 1990’s when a disability forced her to retire.
Linda loved her family. She especially loved being a grandmother. She doted on all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, some of her favorite trips were with her sister-in-law, Pat.
Linda passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home at the age of 68 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, David; son-in-law, Dwain Keith; sisters-in-law: Pat Kingery, Delores Allen and Betty Estes and Don's parents, David and Viola Norton.
Those left to cherish Linda’s memory include her husband, Don; daughters: Chris Keith, Casey (Jeremiah) Snodgrass and Carrie (Chad) Moss; grandchildren: Dylan Keith, Logan Keith, Kylie Keith (Andrew Sims), Jesse (Jenna) Snodgrass, Jared Snodgrass, Kaylin Moss, Clara Moss and Parker Moss; great-grandchildren: Amos, Elias and Isaiah; mother, Connie Storm; siblings: David Storm (Barb), Cindy Storm Norton (Walt), Kevin Storm (Daun) and Jeff Storm (Lori) and many other family members and friends.
A Memorial service for Linda Norton, age 68 of Knoxville, will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Linda’s family to be designated at a later date.
