Larry Wayne Kerr

Larry Wayne Kerr was born October 25, 1932 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Wayne Dewey Kerr and Nettie Pearl (Briggs) Kerr.
He was raised in Kansas City and graduated from high school there. Larry served his country in the United States Navy and at the State Department. Larry spent most of his life as an entrepreneur and general contractor in the commercial construction business.
Larry passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Keith Kerr and twin sister, Lois Long.
Those left to honor Larry’s memory include his children: Leslie Kerr-Mostaffa and Traff Kerr both of Kansas City; his longtime companion, Sandra Beaver of Knoxville and many grandchildren and friends.
Larry has been cremated and no services are planned.
