Kenneth Veryle Loynachan was born early Thanksgiving morning, November 25, 1937 at his family farm east of Knoxville, the son of Lester and Dana (Robuck) Loynachan. He was the third of three sons.
Ken attended McMillian Country School until 8th grade and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1956. After graduation he continued working on the family farm along with his brother, Marvin. In 1983 Ken took a job with 3M working nights, and farming during the day. He retired from 3M in 2002. He was a member of Plymouth Presbyterian Church. In 1958 Ken married his high school sweetheart, Eileen Dodds. They divorced years later but remained good friends until her death in 2014.
In 1999 Ken met Judie Kelderman who has been a loving and faithful companion for almost 20 years, being at Ken’s side through many happy time, good health and sickness. Ken especially enjoyed family get togethers and reunions in Wisconsin and being part of Judie’s family. He had a special bond with his “buddy”, Jadyn, whom he enjoyed mentoring and just having him hang around. Ken even taught Jadyn some of the old family rhymes and songs that his mother taught him. They had a special bond.
Kenneth passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics at the age of 81 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin and wife Phyllis; ex-wife, Eileen and many aunts and uncles.
Kenneth is survived by his brother, Keith (Marie) of Texas; 5 nieces: Marlys (Danny) Hollingshead and Marlene (Dan) Crews all of Knoxville; Teresa Houser (Rod) of Adel; Brenda Loynachan (Todd) of Oklahoma and Anne (Billy) Moss of Texas and 1 nephew, Matthew Loynachan of Texas and 18 great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his life partner, Judie Kelderman and her children: Mike (Nancy) Kelderman, Kevin Kelderman and Shelly Kelderman (Jay); grandchildren: Jacob Hargrave, Jarret Kelderman, Jadyn DeHeer, Sarah, John and Elizabeth Lindley and a great-granddaughter, Willow Apt; special extended family, Teresa (Rick) Glover, Derek and Kylee.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
