Kathleen Louise Gordon was born March 16, 1952 In Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Roy and Patricia (Kincaid) Ramsey.
She was raised in Des Moines and attended Lincoln High School. She moved to Pleasantville as a young woman. Kathy worked in the home health care industry as a C.N.A. for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother; Kathy cherished the time spent with her three daughters and her grandchildren.
Kathy passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Kavanagh House, in Des Moines, at the age of 61 years.
She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters.
Those left to honor her memory include her children: Patti (Doug) VanderHart of Knoxville, Stephanie (Scott) Gleissner of Waterloo and Cassandra Gordon of Pleasantville; grandkids: Lane, Allyson and Braden VanderHart; Noah and Benjamin Gleissner and Mariah Jane Gordon; her mother, Patricia Ramsey of Des Moines; two brothers and 1 sister all of Des Moines and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
