Juanita Faye Mosher was born June 20, 1943 in Rock Island, Illinois the daughter of Ivan and Dakota (Doty) Reeves.
She was raised in the Pleasantville area and graduated from Pleasantville High School with the Class of 1961. Following high school Juanita worked as a secretary for Merchant’s Bonding Company. On March 20, 1965 she was united in marriage to Gary Mosher in Pleasantville. To this union three children were born. Juanita worked many summers at the Pleasantville Country Club pool as the kids were growing. She was also active in 4-H, serving as a leader for several years. After the children were raised, she took a job with Mid-American Energy, eventually retiring in August of 2008.
In her spare time, Juanita enjoyed attending Pleasantville athletics and was a member of the alumni association. The coffee group at Smokey Row was another favorite activity where she enjoyed visiting with friends. Juanita was also an avid reader. She will be best remembered as a loving and proud wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Juanita passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center, in Des Moines, at the age of 72 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish Juanita’s memory include her husband, Gary; children: Letitia (Ervin) Kopp of Columbus, Nebraska, Celesta (Bill) Moore of Pleasantville and Nick Mosher of Swan; 6 grandchildren: Dakota, Mac, Sterling, Pablo, Saul and Jonna; 4 great-grandchildren: Lily, Addison, Ava and Aidan; siblings: Sandra (Paul) Coggshell of Joplin, Missouri, Donna (Bob) Kendall of Tracy and Tom (Nancy) Reeves of Sterling, Nebraska and many other family members and friends.

Juanita has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mason Funeral Home in Pleasantville, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Marion County 4-H.
