Jordan Jacob Bender, 32, passed away on February 28, 2021.
He was born on December 22nd, 1988 to Mearle Bender, Jr. & Kelly Bender. Jordan did many different jobs throughout his life, including working for the Des Moines Register and Central Iowa Radon. He always understood the value of hard work, and he loved being able to care for others in any way possible.
To his family, he was the life of the party and the fun-loving uncle to his niece and nephews. To his friends, he was the one you could always count on to lend a helping hand, especially whenever you were in need of someone to fix something. Jordan was happiest when he was helping someone else be it repairing their car or cutting up tree limbs.
Along with his great love for his dog, Roxie, and his truck, Chubbs, Jordan loved fishing and being outdoors where he could enjoy nature. He especially loved throwing bonfires with his friends and family where they could celebrate life together.
Jordan is survived by his father and mother, Mearle & Kelly (Jordan) Bender; siblings, MaKenzie (Bender) Hafel & Gage Bender; niece & nephews, Allaina, Tayten, Samuel, & Logan; grandparents, Butch & Marie Bender and Paul & Terri Jordan, and numerous other loving family members, including his son JD.
Visitation will be held at Mason Funeral Home in Pleasantville, IA on Thursday, March 4th from 6-8 pm. Funeral will be held on the following day, Friday, March 5th at 1 pm at Berean Assembly of God in Pleasant Hill, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
