John Paul Schneider

John Paul Schneider was born October 29, 1981 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of John and Rhonda (Zeck) Schneider.
He was raised in Knoxville and graduated with the Class of 2000. John then attended Des Moines Area Community College, earning a network engineering degree. He worked as a network engineer for many years for Vantage Point. He had a natural ability for computer science and enjoyed the challenges in solving any issue.
In his spare time, John enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. He was also a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
John passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center, in Des Moines, at the age 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda and uncle, David Gilliland.
Those left to cherish John’s memory include his children, Kyria and Sawyer; grandson, Bentley Tillie; sister, Sarah Schneider; sister, Tori Willemsen; father, John Schneider; nephew, Ezra Clark and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
