Jerry Lee Bertrand, age 59 of Bouton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Granger Nursing & Rehab. He was born December 27, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Eugene and Judy (DuBois) Bertrand.
He enjoyed being an over-the-road truck driver and hunting and fishing. He was ornery, funny, caring and an all-around great guy. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; four sons: Jake (Trisha) Bertrand, Doug McLey, Jason (Mandy) Shephard and Joe (Penny)Shephard; two daughters: Jennifer (Adam) Hol and Crystal (Ryan) Nordeen; parents, Gene and Judy Bertrand; two brothers: Randy (Tammy) Bertrand and Mike (Michelle) Bertrand; 6 grandchildren and a sister, Mary (Jeff).
A Celebration of Jerry Lee Bertrand’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Bouton Community Center, in Bouton, Iowa, starting at 11:00 a.m.
