Inez Luree Jones

Inez Luree Jones was born on February 1, 1921 in Swan, Iowa the daughter of Earl and Effie (McDaniel) Cowman.
She was raised in the Swan area and attended school there. On May 11, 1940 she was united in marriage to Lester Jones at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. To this union one son, Marvin was born. The couple made their home near Tracy and farmed for many years. In 1965 they sold the farm and moved to Knoxville. Inez and Lester hung wallpaper and painted after moving to Knoxville. They also worked at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home for over 15 years.
Inez passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the West Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center at the age of 93 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester; 3 infant children; her brother, Doyle and four sisters: Beverly, Phyllis, Bernita and Norma.
She is survived by her son, Marvin of Knoxville; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
