Ila Grace Williams

Ila Grace Williams was born July 30, 1934 in Marengo the daughter of Lester and Ella Mae (Fiser) Moore.
Ila was united in marriage to Leland Williams and the couple made their home in Pleasantville for most of their married life. Ila worked at the Dairy Shop in Pleasantville and later in the Marion County Auditor’s Office. She retired from the Auditor’s office after 15 years of service. In her spare time, Ila enjoyed camping and riding mules with her husband, Lee.
Ila passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her home, in Pleasantville, at the age of 82 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lee in January of 2017.
Those left to cherish Ila’s memory include her daughters: Sharon (Kenneth) Carr of New Sharon and Cindy (Mike) West of Osceola; grandchildren: Vicky Goemaat, Jered Jones, Amy Goodridge, and Jessi West; great-grandchildren: McKenna Jones, Shelby Jones, Nathaniel Paxson, Dawson Goodridge, Grace Goodridge, Levi Cotner, Angelina McCoy, Alux Jones and Teegan Jones; siblings: Elaine (Cliff) Anderson of Cedar Rapids and Larry (Marjean) Moore and Lyle (Randa) Moore all of Marengo and many other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service for Ila Williams, age 82 of Pleasantville, will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mason Funeral Home.
