Huxley James Renard

Huxley James Renard was born November 18, 2023 in Des Moines, Iowa, weighing 6lbs .8 oz and was 19” tall.

Huxley brought immeasurable joy to his family and their friends. He loved car rides, the bumpier the better and sleeping through bowling meets. Huxley even smiled as he slept. In his short time on earth Huxley was loved immensely and, in his death, he helped others as an organ donor.

Huxley passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics at the age of 2 months and 10 days.

He was preceded in death by his great-great grandparents: Emmert and Betty Binns and Leora Schurman and great-great uncle, Dennis Binns.

Those left to cherish Huxley’s memory include his mother, Brigette Renard; grandparents, Shaun and Jessica Renard; uncle, Deven Renard; great grandparents, Larry and Sandy Renard; great-grandmother, Angela Collins; great-great grandparents, Larry and Carol Schurman; great uncle and aunt, Jon and Nicole Collins; great uncles: Jeremy and Logan Collins; honorary great grandparents, Nana Barb and Papa Ron VanWyk and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.


A funeral service for Huxley James Renard, age 2 months of Knoxville, will be held Friday, February 2, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Knoxville Apostolic Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Knoxville Apostolic Church.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brigette Renard to be designated at a later date.
