A Celebration of Life for Eric Graham, age 41 of Pleasantville, will be held at the Pleasantville Memorial Hall on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family.
Eric is survived by his wife, Angie; son, Dawsyn; father, Charlie (Marilyn Murphy) of Pleasantville; sister, Mindy Graham-Hinners (Jason) of Pleasantville; grandfather, Guy Graham of Knoxville; in-laws: Cindy Proffitt & Howard Parker of Harvey; Scott Heaberlin of Des Moines; Amy Heaberlin of Harvey and Zach Pettyjohn of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members and many friends.
Eric Allen Graham was born September 17, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Charles Edwin and Brenda Sue (Jenkins) Graham.
He was raised in Pleasantville and as a young man Eric worked for Mid-State Auto Salvage. He later worked for VerMeer, Al’s Transmission and most recently for Quality Manufacturing in Urbandale. On June 3, 2000 Eric was united in marriage to Angie Heaberlin. To this union one son, Dawsyn was born. The couple have always made Pleasantville their home.
In his spare time, Eric enjoyed racing, moto-cross and working on cars. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially when it came to fishing.
Eric passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 41 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue; grandmother, Jo; grandfather, Vann and his uncle Denny.
