Elaine Mason

Frances Elaine Mason was born November 14, 1946 in Pleasantville, Iowa the daughter of Francis and Sarah (Brown) Lehigh.
She graduated from Melcher-Dallas High School. Elaine worked as a C.N.A. most of her life. She had worked at nursing homes in Knoxville and Pleasantville, and worked for Nurse Force. She loved her work and would routinely bring gifts to residents, even on her days off. Elaine was married to Robert Risius and they had two daughters, Crystal and Kathy. She later married Charlie Mason on April 9, 2019.
Elaine loved to listen to Elvis Presley and country music. She also liked to go dancing. Elaine liked to collect anything oriental and things with wolfs. She will be remembered as the life of the party.
Elaine passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at her home, in Lacona, at the age of 76 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, one in infancy and Helen Greene.
Those left to cherish Elaine’s memory include her husband, Charlie Mason; daughters: Crystal Risius and Kathy Risius both of Missouri; granddaughter, SammiStar (Josh) Brainerd of Missouri; great-granddaughter, Isabella; brother, Teddy Lehigh of Rose Hill, Iowa; sisters: Rose (Donald) Talley of Altoona, Iowa and Diana (Christopher) DeMoss of Pella, Iowa and many other family members and friends.
