Dorothy Marie Borchert, daughter of Doc and Marie (Smith) Pearson, was born in Attica, lowa on February 17, 1932. Dorothy passed away on February 7, 2024.
Dorothy graduated from Attica High School in 1949. On May 11, 1952 she was united in marriage to Glenn D. Borchert. They were married for 54 years before his sudden passing on November 28, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother & sister-in-law Gerald (Vera) Pearson as well Glenn’s parents and many of his brothers, sisters, and their spouses.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Janet Catron of Ankeny and Susan (Ross) Sterling of Omaha, NE. Four grandchildren; Aran (Allyson) Cox of lowa City, Jason Cox of Ankeny, Amy (Daniel) Botos of Elkhorn, NE and Abbey (Ronald) Mander of St. Johns, FL. Great-grandchildren include Elijah, Elswyth, Tara, Adrian (Glenn), Desmond, Abigail, Cash, Maeve, Mara, Campbell, William and Thomas. She is also survived by many beloved cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends!
The family will hold a private service per Dorothy’s wishes. Memorials can be directed to the family or charity of your heart.
