Donna Rae Beier

Donna Rae Carolus was born February 1, 1940 in Garner, Iowa the daughter of Richard and Anna (Tanner) Carolus.
She was raised in Garner, Iowa and graduated from Garner High School. In 1959 she was united in marriage to Robert Beier in Klemme, Iowa. Donna worked at Hawkeye Insurance in Des Moines and Pleasant Care in Pleasantville. She also worked many years for Dr Herb Perryman and Dr Dennis Perryman at the only Dr.'s office in Pleasantville. For most of their married life Robert and Donna lived in Pleasantville, Iowa. Donna enjoyed reading, spending time with family and tending to her garden and flowers.
Donna passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Comfort House in Pella at the age of 81 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Marvalyn Rayhons and Carolyn Jontz.
Those left to honor Donna's memory include her children: Rod Beier (Carol), Randy Beier, Jeff Beier (Micki) and Jill Freel (Brian); 8 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 2 precious great-grandsons, Tucker and Bentley; siblings: Keith Carolus, brother and many other family members and friends.
Donna has been cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Fairview Church or to the Comfort House in Pella.
