Deborah Jean Mckinney

Deborah Jean McKinney was born May 9, 1955 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Lawrence and Jean Marie (Overton) Bolduc.
As a young woman, she served in the United States Army and worked for the Railroad. She then worked for the City of Cedar Rapids. Deb lived in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area for most of her adult life and later worked as a cook and bartender. Deb and her husband, Danny Joe moved to Harvey, Iowa in 2008. Dan was truly the love of Deb’s life.
In her spare time, Deb loved to grill and entertain friends and family. She had the greenest thumb ever and always surrounded herself with TONS of plants, flowers etc. She was always playing in the dirt.
Deb was a pet lover and always had fur babies.
Deb passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at her home, in Harvey, at the age of 68 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dan.
Deb is survived by her daughter, Melanie (James) Urias; 8 grandkids; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Reginald VanWyk of Des Moines; aunt, Betty Staab of Florida and many other family members and friends.
Deb has been cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
