Daryl Anthony Schroeder

Daryl Anthony Schroeder was born March 24, 1964 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Dale and Marilyn (Kenney) Schroeder.
He was raised in Clarence, Iowa and graduated from Clarence-Lowden High School in 1982. Following high school, Daryl attended Lincoln Tech in Des Moines for auto repair and management. On May 5, 1984 he was united in marriage to Veronica “Ronni” Vernon. The couple lived in Des Moines and Daryl worked for Johnston Firestone and later for Goodyear Auto Service Center. They later moved to Indianola and Daryl worked for Goodyear in Knoxville. In 1989 Daryl and Ronni moved to Knoxville. He worked for Pella Corp, then Ulrich Ford and most recently at Craig Ford.
In his spare time, Daryl enjoyed fishing and fantasy football. In his younger years, he started a baseball league in Knoxville. The most important part of Daryl’s life was his family and especially treasured his grandchildren.
Daryl passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his family, at the age of 59 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Marilyn.
Those left to cherish Daryl’s memory include his wife, Ronni; children: Rachel (Beige) Turner, Victoria (Jayson) Shafer and Anthony (Madisen) Schroeder; grandchildren: Kayden, Saithe, Adrian, Mya, Elijah and Jaxon; siblings: Dennis (Donna) Schroeder, Doris (Doug) Adamy and Darin (Tammy) Schroeder and many other family members and friends.
