Daniel Earl Sutherland

Daniel Earl Sutherland was born June 8, 1961 in Knoxville, Iowa the son of Richard and Barbara (Williams) Sutherland.
Dan graduated from Knoxville High School with the Class of 1979. Most of his working career was spent at Vermeer Manufacturing. He did a multitude of jobs at Vermeer, retiring from the jig department after 26 years of service.
Dan took great pride in his home’s appearance, he especially enjoyed landscaping every spring. In his spare time, Dan enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and hot rods, his favorite one being a Chevelle SS.
Dan passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at his home, in Knoxville, at the age of 62 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard.
Those left to cherish Dan’s memory include his children: Adam of Bondurant, Abbie of Waukee and Nicholas of Knoxville; mother, Barbara Feddick of Glendale, Arizona; grandchildren: Trenton, Tanner, Tessa and Tyler; siblings: Michael of Glendale, Arizona, Sherri Tippery of Chicago, Doug of Harvey and David of Pella and many other family members and friends.
Dan has been cremated and no services are currently planned.
