Daniel Klockow

Daniel Klockow, age 72, of Knoxville, IA passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at home.
Dan was born to parents, Edward and Esther (Ningen) Klockow in Marshall, MN. He was brought up in the Lutheran church and attended Marshall High School. He was an active teenager who loved playing tennis and basketball with friends. He left home and went to Iowa State University to study civil engineering. After completing his bachelor's and master's degrees, he moved around the country first doing an internship in Chicago, then working in Boston and St. Louis before settling in Columbia, MO to run his own business for 30 years.
He enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals baseball, Iowa State football, and being outdoors whether he was fishing, playing sports, flying planes, or out on a boat. He also loved being a dad and enjoyed spending time with his daughters at baseball games, amusement parks, and county fairs.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed in 1985, his mother, Esther in 2003, and his sister, Corrine Lantgen in 2020. Dan is survived by his daughters: Sara Loring and her husband Matt of Leland, NC and Jessica Klockow of Mountain View, CA.
Per his wishes, Dan will be cremated. No services will be held.
