Cynthia Rae Dahl-Sutton
October 3, 1958 — July 4, 2022
Cynthia Rae Dahl-Sutton was born October 3, 1958 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the daughter of Daniel and LaVonne (Bahnson) Dahl.
She was raised in South Dakota and graduated from high school in Rapid City. Cyndi then worked for Kresge’s for several years. She eventually moved to Des Moines, Iowa and worked for TMC Trucking in accounting and payroll. Cyndi met love of her life, Mike Sutton, 20 years ago. They have been inseparable since and were married October 3, 2008. The couple has lived in Knoxville, Iowa for the last 8 years.
In her spare time, Cyndi enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, gardening and raising flowers. She was also an excellent cook and baker. Cyndi loved football and was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan. Her constant companion was her beloved dog, Bella.
Cyndi passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at West Ridge Specialty Care, in Knoxville, at the age of 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Bella.
Those left to cherish Cyndi’s memory include her husband, Mike; son, Mike, Jr.; daughter Amanda Leach; grandchildren: Delanie, Bella, Paisley and Knox; siblings: Daniel Dahl, Melinda Dahl, Michael Dahl and Mark Dahl and many other family members and friends.
