Corey Lane Lester

Corey Lane Lester was born August 25, 1971 in Centerville, Iowa the son of Steven F. Lester and Lorraine J. (Van Essen) Phillips.
As Corey was growing up, his family lived in Centerville, Pleasantville, and Tracy. He graduated from Twin Cedars High School with the Class of 1989. He then embarked on his career, working for Pella Corp. On August 25, 1990 Corey was united in marriage to the love of his life, Pamela Wright and the couple made their home in Pleasantville.
In his spare time, Corey enjoyed going to concerts. He was a handyman and could fix nearly anything. Corey was a devoted husband, father and Papa. He loved attending his kid’s sporting events and being a grandfather.
Corey passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Pella Regional Health Center at the age of 53 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven and his brother, Chad Steven Lester.
Those left to honor Corey’s memory include his wife, Pam; children: Cass (Halla) Lester and their children, Maddux and Moxon; Sierra (Zach) Hutton and their children, Ella and Gable; and Cael (Erica Blankenship) Lester; mother, Lorraine (John) Phillips; siblings: Christine (Victor) Allen and Carl (Madison Martin) Phillips and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasantville Youth Initiative.
