Cindy Bach
February 4, 1954 — June 20, 2017
Cynthia Lou Bach was born February 4, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Donald Max and Velma Jean (Wallace) Rinehart.
She was raised in Runnells and graduated from Southeast Polk High School. Following high school, Cindy worked as a beautician for many years on Des Moines’ east side. She later worked for Pioneer Seed. Cindy moved to Knoxville many years ago and had worked for Keith Goedyk, Casey’s and in the kitchen for the Knoxville School District.
In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed camping, traveling and fishing. She was always ready for a road trip even if the destination was unknown. Cindy was out going and made friends wherever she went.
Cindy passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, in Iowa City, at the age 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish Cindy’s memory include her companion of 17 years, Richard Marsh of Knoxville; sister, Judy (David) Person of Altoona and many other family members and friends.
A visitation for Cindy Bach, age 63 of Knoxville, will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. Cindy has been cremated.
