Charles "Bud" Michael
December 20, 1938 — October 10, 2014
Charles Francis “Bud” Michael was born December 20, 1938 in Decatur, Illinois the son of Charles Francis Michael, Sr. and Ruth (Ballweg) Michael.
Bud graduated from Decatur High School and then served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961. Bud worked in the New York Stock Exchange and the CBOT most of his life. He was a stock broker for Smith-Barney for much of his career. He was forced to retire in 1998 due to health reasons.
On August 2, 1980 Bud was united in marriage to Rebecca Ann Wooldridge. Bud and Becky had a blessed marriage and a Christian home for their son, James and later for his wife, Joni and their children: Ethan, Scott, Morgan and Kendra.
Bud passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 at his home at the age of 75 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dick and his sister, Pat.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Becky; son James and Joni Michael and their four children: Ethan, Scott, Morgan and Kendra Michael and many other family members and friends.
