Bruce Anthony Clark
August 21, 1954 — January 25, 2025
Bruce Anthony Clark was born August 21, 1954 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the son of Clifford C. and Eva Alberta (Orr) Clark.
Bruce spent his early years in Knoxville until they moved to Pleasantville as he entered the 2nd grade. He graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1972. On November 24, 1972 Bruce was united in marriage to Cynthia Selby. The couple welcomed son, Nathan in 1976 and son, Aaron in 1982. They have always made their home in the Pleasantville community. Through the years, Bruce worked at the V.A. Hospital, the Lil’ Duffer Restaurant and he retired from Tone’s Spices at the age of 62. In his retirement he enjoyed working at Bensink Farms Hunting Preserve.
In his spare time, Bruce enjoyed golfing, boating attending car shows. He was a car nut and enjoyed his classic cars.
Bruce passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 at MercyOne, in Des Moines, at the age of 70 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Kenneth Clark and Catherine Estness.
Those left to honor Bruce’s memory include his wife, Cindy; sons: Nathan and Aaron; granddaughter, Laila Clark; brother, Richard W. (Maryann) Clark and many other family members and friends.
