Bonnie Darlene Warner was born February 19, 1941 in Albia, Iowa the daughter of Edmund and Anna Hannan.
She was raised in Albia and was united in marriage to Del Warner. The couple lived in Knoxville most of their married life. Bonnie worked for many years as a C.N.A. at Griffin Nursing Center in Knoxville. She also volunteered at Helping Hands for over 20 years. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoyed cooking. She also loved to sing and tell a good joke.
Bonnie passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Comfort House, in Pella, at the age of 76 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Del; son, Robin Hannan and two brothers, Alan and Kenny Hannan.
Those left to cherish Bonnie’s memory include her daughter-in-law, Lisa Bachelder of Knoxville; three grandchildren: Mark, Brett and Amber; siblings: Ed Hannan of Blakesburg, Jackie Steel of Ottumwa and Richard Hannan of Iowa City and many other family members and friends.
A Memorial Gathering for Bonnie Warner, age 76 of Knoxville will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:45 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m.at the Nazarene Church. Bonnie has been cremated and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
