Allyssa Joanne Hol Profile Photo
Allyssa Joanne Hol (Allie Jo) was born February 1, 2018 and went to heaven September 26, 2019. Our precious little girl battled Alexander Disease, which is a rapid life-ending form of Leukodystrophy that affects the brain. Allie Jo touched the heart all that knew her.
She is survived by her maternal grandmother, Melody Major; her aunt Trisha and uncle Jake Bertrand; her cousins, Natalye and Donovan Bertrand; maternal grandmother, Nancy; paternal grandparents, Tim and Kim Hol and Matt Hol; great-grandmother, Linda Rinhert and her extended family, Kim Major and Margo Davis.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Bertrand and her uncle, Duke.
A heart felt special thanks to all the families at Grace Evangelical Church for all their prayers and support as well as the Blank Children’s Hospital staff, especially Dr. Lisa Menzies. Also the members of Unity Point at home and Unity Point Hospice for all the endless hours spent making sure Allie Jo lacked nothing.

A Remembrance for Allyssa Joanne “Allie Jo” Hol will be held at the Nord-Kalsem Park, 104 W 5th St, Huxley, IA 50124, on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In honor of Allyssa the family asks only for your prayers and attendance.
