Alicia Mae Minard

Alicia Mae Minard was born May 26, 1957 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Alicia was raised in Omaha, Nebraska until the age of 8 years, when her family moved to Pershing, Iowa. On September 6, 1975 Alicia was united in marriage to Rick Minard. For the last 33 years the couple has made Harvey their home. She worked as a C.N.A. at the Pella Hospital for 14 years prior to retirement.
Alicia enjoyed boat rides, mowing her yard and going to sales and antiquing. The most important part of Alicia’s life was her family, she especially loved coffee with her mother-in-law twice a week and spending time her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Bob; sister, Crystal; nieces and nephews: Kelly, Carley, Casey and Chris and in-laws: Jackie Minard, Karen Simmons and Judy Cooley.
Those left to cherish Alicia’s memory include her husband, Rick; children: Rick Minard, Jr. and Jessica Minard (Jeremy Poe); 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Donald Blevins, Vicky Test, Tina Geery, Cindy Williams and Nancy Kinion and many other family members and friends.
A Funeral service for Alicia Minard, age 62 of Harvey, will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Eureka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Every Step Hospice.
